This role will be responsible for winning, maintaining, and expanding relationships with acquired channel partners. The Channel Manager represents the entire range of company products and services to assigned partners though may focus on a specific solution or product set if focused on a partner vertical market.



  • Identify, Recruit & Onboard new channel partners within assigned territory.
  • Develop relationships with channel partner executives and sales teams.
  • Own supplier channel strategy, partner acquisition, and revenue generated from the channel.
  • Manage the facilitation of joint selling between channel partners and the direct sales team.
  • Assist in developing short, medium, and long-term plans to achieve strategic objectives.
  • Monitor and guide team performance to goals while inspiring success


  • Assess current team processes and procedures, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement them.
  • Work with senior management to devise and implement innovative go-to-market strategies.
  • Collaborate internally, as well as engage strategically, with external stakeholders to acquire new clients.
  • Build strong business relationships with key customers and ensures a link between company objectives and customer objectives.
  • Understand the market dynamics and industry-specific trends and landscapes to bring new insights and solutions to grow sustainable business results.
  • Work with senior management to devise and implement innovative go-to-market strategies.
  • Drive campaign activity in partnership with marketing and industry sellers.
  • Work closely with the credit, operations, and technology teams to provide partner feedback to improve our product offering and customer experience.
  • Monitor sales and analyze performance trends to identify issues and opportunities.
  • Drive relationships within partner organizations at all levels and role profiles.
  • Prospect, Identify, activate, and onboard new sales channel partners across territories.
  • Manage product stocking & sales activities of channel partners to generate revenue.
  • Coordinate with channel partners to create and implement workable tactics to meet sales goals.
  • Evaluate partner sales performance and recommend improvements.
  • Educate channel partners about product portfolio and joint function services offered by the business
  • Address partner-related issues, sales conflicts, and pricing issues in a timely manner.
  • Manage sales pipeline, forecast monthly sales, and identify new business opportunities.
  • Develop a positive working relationship with channel partners to build the business.
  • Communicate up-to-date information about new products and enhancements to partners.
  • Deliver up-to-date Sales performance reports of all sales channels 
  • Assist in channel partners’ marketing activities such as tradeshows, campaigns, and other promotional activities that directly impact on company sales performance 
  • Analyze market trends and develop sales tactics to increase brand awareness.
  • Stay current with the latest developments in the marketplace and competitor activities.


  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, marketing, engineering, or business administration.
  • 3-5 Years Experience as Channel Sales Manager
  • Should have explicit knowledge of sales channels for the Luxury, Hospitality & Retail markets in Nigeria 
  • Excellent knowledge of performance & Reporting tools I.e Office Applications e.g Excel/Google Sheets, Word/Docs, PowerPoint, etc. 
  • Excellent Performance Reporting skills. Should have good knowledge of creating, presenting & interpreting data charts 
  • Should be innovative and creative in managing partner relations with the ability to take the initiative & be proactive in decision making. 
  • Should have the basic business acumen to deliver high-performance results
  • Should have excellent communication skills with a good show of empathy and ability to develop new relationships
  • Strong pipeline tracking and management abilities.
  • Background involving solution selling and successful negotiations.
  • A natural leader and problem solver with demonstrated critical thinking and collaboration skills.
  • Able to work in an environment using cloud systems.
  • A demonstrated track record as a top performer throughout career.
