This week, Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari and his Vice declared their assets publicly. Also, Adeola takes at look at Buhari’s first 100 days in office.

In Egypt, three Al Jazeera journalists were sentenced to three years in Prison. Also in South Sudan, a journalist was shot dead on his way from work just days after Mr. President made threatening comment about journalists.

In Swaziland, 65 young girls lost their lives in an accident on their way to the reed dance, where girls dance half-naked for the king.

Nigerian governor Godswill Akpabio last week was in an accident and is now receiving treatment abroad despite building a mega hospital in his State.

  1. since Boko haram destroyed power lines in Borno state since 2013 there has been light except when it was fixed for once and BH returned to destroy it again……in an attempt to fix back the line early this year BH attacked PHCN and security men doing the job……anyway, its high time the fix back the power line again…but the guys mail gave a different view completely.

Or, is Simmons Cooper an American law firm which earned it's fees in dollars? de'Ola please use your superb investigative journalistic skills to shed more light on all this because the Predatory Republic of Corruption otherwise known as Nigeria is in effect finished no matter what this administration does. They may temporarily be able to decrease the speed of the slide down the slippery slope, however, that's about as much as they can do!
